The Prosperity of Enough: Living the Sirian Way

“When does abundance become excess?”

This question came up in this week’s From Sirius With Love Oracle reading, which you can find below.

You’ve probably seen abundance courses everywhere. The spiritual world feels saturated with them right now. I’m not ashamed to say I’ve done my fair share over the years. Some worked better than others. I am a very diligent person. When I do the work, I do it well: extremely well, probably too well. Sometimes I feel I have a PhD in abundance manifestation techniques.

Initially, my interest came from the fact that I used to exclusively manifest through my husband, who, as a Capricorn, acted as my earth anchor for years. I wanted to learn how to manifest through myself instead. But somewhere along the way, I noticed something unsettling: the focus on “abundance” has tipped many of us into too much and too much is just another facet of not enough. Excess is often driven by the same fear as lack. Both states pull us out of alignment.

The Sirian Perspective on Prosperity

On Sirius, prosperity is a state of deep balance: having everything you need in each moment. Too little creates struggle; too much creates distortion. True abundance holds no weight. It flows, circulates, nourishes, and always brings what is needed in the moment. Prosperity becomes about enough rather than an endless pursuit of more.

Wanting and needing are not the same. Our Earth culture is built on wanting, on systems designed to keep us feeling incomplete and perpetually dissatisfied. It’s a clever loop: feel unfulfilled → want more → chase more → still feel lacking.

Sirians focus on needs:

  • Do you have food and water?

  • Do you feel safe and warm?

  • Are there people you love, and who love you?

  • Do you have shelter?

  • Do you believe in something greater than yourself?

That is the baseline of prosperity.

The Trap of Both Extremes

The scarcity frequency drives both hoarding and craving. “More” can feel like security, but it often amplifies fear of loss. Both extremes stem from forgetting sufficiency and disconnecting from the Source that provides.

This relentless hunger for “more” is also destroying our planet. We feel bloated with possessions, information, and desires. Our energetic blueprint of overconsumption is creating havoc in our ecosystems and in our nervous systems.

Some Suggestions to Return to Enough

Today, observe where you tend to overfill: with food, work, content, relationships, shopping. I used to justify endless books and courses by saying I was learning (and yes, I do love learning). But constant outer learning was another lack-loop. My inner wisdom was right there, free and waiting to be listened to. It still is.

I also catch myself, during emotional lows, scrolling or shopping online to soothe a creeping void. Have we come to associate every dopamine hit with abundance? Are we confusing emptiness with a chemical dip? If so, it may be time to gently wean ourselves from the constant chase for stimulation disguised as “expansion.”

Create space: fast from consumption, noise, urgency. Return to presence. Presence is usually accompanied by the feeling of enough.

Replace “I need more” with “I have what I need to thrive.”

Because that’s the question: Do you have what you need to thrive right now?

We are born with a soul and inner wisdom: two things that cannot be bought, and that absolutely do fill the void. I’ve noticed something: when I feel that hollow ache inside, it usually means one of two things: either I need to create or I need to meditate. In other words, my soul needs expression or connection. Those two actions often give me what I need to thrive once my basic needs are met.

Finally here is another simple Sirian truth: fulfillment is essential to prosperity. Souls need a reason to get up each day that brings excitement and joy, often connected to something greater than oneself. Contributing to the highest good brings satisfaction, which naturally aligns all other needs. So think about what your contribution could be.

A Closing Prayer

“Spirit, God, Universe, Almighty, Creator, Creatrix (choose your word), I call in fulfillment and satisfaction today and every day, so I may contribute to the highest good and trust that all my needs are met. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And so it is.”

Your Turn to Reflect

If ‘too much’ is still rooted in ‘not enough,’ where are you overfilling to avoid feeling empty?
